The shadow self cannot be defeated or ridden. This manifestation is the shadow self – the broken, dysfunctional side of you that you want to keep far from the light of attention. This dark icky mess of stagnant trauma manifests into things like insecurities, distorted perceptions about reality and oneself, limiting belief systems, and a whole mountain of trash that really does not serve you. These demons stem from past traumas, negative beliefs, and unresolved wounds that have never properly been dealt with. We all have demons lurking within us, waiting to be confronted.
